Renovation
The existing farm cottage was given a new lease of life by reconfiguring the rather generous but busy floor plan. This allowed more light to penetrate deeper into the spaces and improved the relationship between the living and dining areas.
The kitchen was flipped from the southern to the northern side and an open plan spatial arrangement created. A second living area was also achieved as well as multiple sitting areas to follow the sun.
The original enclosed verandah was removed and new double glazing installed to take advantage of the expansive views to the river and gardens.
