This compact family home is located on a steep site overlooking the East Coast of Tasmania and comprises two pavilions elongated along the contour of the land. The entry link separates the public pavilion from the private pavilion that houses the bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was designed to use minimal energy and performs very well in Tasmania’s cool climate with an in slab hydronic heating system(heated from the wood heater) and north east facing double glazing .
